Making Murder Pleasant

You can fill a bathtub with lots of things: the standard mix of bubbles and rose petals, the occasional tub-o'-party-punch, a juvenile crocodile rescued on the return drive from spring training, or the more rare murdered Russian mobster. That's right, Mount Pleasant Winery (5634 High Street, Augusta) features that last one at a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater event! The buffet begins at 6:30 p.m., and the murder mystery Bullets in the Bathtub! begins at 8 p.m. Audience members play a role in determining which character at Cherry's Speakeasy pulled the trigger on mobster Harry Hyde. The best part of the evening (after dessert, of course) is that portions of the performance are improvisational — meaning anything can happen! So head to Augusta, grab a bottle of Mount Pleasant's award-winning Norton, and be prepared to thoroughly enjoy yourself. Tickets are $59.99 for the full meal deal or $24.99 for theater and dessert only. For more information visit www.mountpleasant.com, and call 800-467-9463 to make your reservations.
