Vans Warped Tour
12 p.m. Tuesday, August 14. Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, 14141 Riverport Drive
Published on August 08, 2007
Over the past thirteen years, the Vans Warped Tour has evolved from a punk-rock summer camp into a sun-soaked spectacle that transcends one particular genre. In fact, over the past decade the tour has (for better or worse) broken everyone from Eminem to Papa Roach to Paramore. This year's lineup is a testament to that diversity, featuring everything from punk staples (Bad Religion, Flogging Molly) to buzzworthy newcomers (Gallows, The Almost) to metalcore heavyweights (As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage). However, the best part of the tour is its myriad non-band attractions when less-interesting acts hit the stage, like videogame stations or the Vans Skate Ramp.
