Our Bar, Our Dinner

In case you’re not up on current lingo, you should know that “pizza” is now “flatbread.” You should also know that “flatbread” tastes better than “pizza” for some reason. Weird, huh? If you’re still skeptical, head over to rBar (4054 Chouteau Avenue; 314-480-2415 or www.rbarstl.com) for Throwback Thursdays from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. During this weekly themed night, the Grove establishment celebrates the past while embracing the flatbread present. To wit, Nintendo is out for the playing and DJ Tanner offers up jams from the ´80s and ´90s, all while the kitchen serves flatbreads -- for free -- from 8 to 10 p.m.! But the deals don’t stop there! You can wash said flatbreads down with $1.50 beers (from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m.). Rad!
