Jamie Foehner Benefit

12 p.m. Saturday, January 6. Lemmons, 5800 Gravois.

By Annie Zaleski

Published on January 02, 2008

Those who frequent Lemmons — for its popular trivia nights, its weekend shows and, of course, the delicious pizza — know Jamie Foehner, the power-pop-lovin' doorman/booking agent. Due to some recent health problems and an extended hospital stay, Foehner needs some help with his medical bills. Thankfully, Lemmons is stepping up to help its beloved employee with a daylong benefit on his behalf. Along with games, raffles and (of course) trivia, this event will feature musical entertainment provided by the Trip Daddys, Bunnygrunt and Bad Folk. The entire shindig will be emceed by improv comedian Bill Chott — which is fitting, as Foehner trained at Chicago's Second City comedy school (alongside Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell!).
