Thimes for Dinner

By Alison Sieloff

Published on May 07, 2008

Mother's Day brunches are great, it's true — but what about a Mother's Day dinner? Sounds fancy, right? The Sheldon (3648 Washington Boulevard) knows your mom deserves such a meal, so it's offering dinner before the Denise Thimes & Friends Mother's Day concert. Supper happens from 3 to 5 p.m., and the jazzy performance begins at 5:30 p.m., giving moms and their grateful kids plenty of time to relax and enjoy themselves without worrying about getting home too late on a Sunday. The cost for the feast is $35, and tack on an additional $25 to $50 for your concert ticket (at 314-534-1111 or www.metrotix.com). And to hear a little bit of Thimes before her rich, soulful voice fills the Sheldon, visit www.denisethimes.com.
