If you go to Murphy's Law's Wikipedia page, you'll find a list of 42 musicians who have performed alongside front man Jimmy Gestapo (who's a co-owner of New York Hardcore Tattoos) since the mid-'80s. (The roster includes previous and future members of Cro-Mags, Agnostic Front, D Generation and Bouncing Souls, among others.) However, while most of the band's hard-core peers are constantly stressing how tough they are, Murphy's Law has been concerned with partying hard since Andrew W.K. was in diapers. The band is playing a string of shows opening for venerable punkers Rancid this summer, although there's nothing quite like a Murphy's Law headlining gig, which is sure to leave beer-soaked hard-core fans with a giant smile on their faces instead of their usual grimace.
