The Craft Mafia is orchestrating a major hit on the St. Louis area, and insiders report that it will go down tonight between 7 and 11 p.m. at the CooperElla Boutique (2743 Sutton Boulevard, Maplewood). The Crafta Nostra Craft Show is a full-scale effort to rub out the commercialized, cookie-cutter gifts that have taken over our streets. More than 25 Craft Mafia heavies will be pushing their DIY products and handmade swag, including stylish pet collars, sassy plush monsters, baby gear and plenty more. DJ "You Dirty" Rabbit will serve as the evening's sonic hit man on the wheels of steel, and snitches and stoolies are encouraged to tell their friends, because this event is free and open to the public. So wiggle out of those cement shoes, and visit www.craftanostra.com for all the dope!
