This is the original of the three Llywelyn’s pubs, the one that introduced St. Louis to Welsh rarebit, shepherd’s pie and deep-fried Welsh potato chips. Three decades later, and under new ownership (since 1997), those and other old favorites -- steak-and-cheese sandwich, anyone? -- remain available in abundance on an expanded menu, as are beers, beers and more beers -- typically, twenty brews can be found on tap.
