Housed in a huge space on the ground floor of the new Merchandise Mart apartments, Kitchen K offers a sleek but friendly vibe that provides the perfect backdrop for adventurous, satisfying fare like sweet potato fries served with banana-guava ketchup -- a Hot Locust holdover that, like many other items from its vast menu, makes a welcome comeback.
