Gaia13 is my favorite artist in St. Louis and, well, everywhere. If you haven't heard this guy, you have to go to one of his shows!

I'm not sure I'd call it reggae-laced, though. I think of it more as experimental-ambient-funk with a beat whose tendrils reach deep within your mind, their fibers caressing the sulci of your brain, causing dance, happiness, and introspection all at once.

Never been here prior, but it was pretty nice. Def. liked getting down in there. I got a little confused with the levels...I don't think I ever found the peak room. But I couldn't find a lot of things on Friday...

Orchard Lounge was the heat (as expected) That alone, was well worth the $20 ticket fee IMHO. Anasia was a nice little treat to cap off the night (x2)..... I hadn't seen Future Rock since April of '07, and they impressed me tons this time.
