Your TARDIS may be working a little slow tonight, as the time-space continuum is busy transporting every Doctor Who fan in relative history to movie theaters across the country. The BBC marks 50 years -- 50! -- of the Doctor in all thirteen of his incarnations, along with countless deadly assassins, cutesy sidekicks, and obsessive fandom with a very special episode. Doctor Who: The Day of the Doctor, stars the tenth and eleventh Doctors, David Tennant and Matt Smith, respectively. They investigate the thing that goes bump in the night in the present-day London National Gallery, and also jump back to 1562 Elizabethan England to stop a murder. Following the episode is a behind-the-scenes mini-documentary with interviews from the current showrunner Steven Moffat. The Chesterfield AMC 14 IMAX (3000 Chesterfield Mall Road) theater screens The Day of the Doctor in 3-D at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased through www.fathomevents.com.
