That's How Sushi Rolls

Learn all about it at the library

The Buder branch of the St. Louis Public Library (4401 Hampton Avenue) probably has the coolest name of any bibliotheca in the region, and it just might host the coolest events, too (or at least, the most unusual ones). Its Hands-On Sushi Demonstration serves as a case in point. During this class participants learn how to assemble veggie, California and Philadelphia rolls, plus they get to munch on edamame and (quietly) slurp miso soup in the process. Class size is limited, so call Buder at 314-352-2900 to sign up, and visit www.slpl.org for more information. The dinner/demo runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
