Edna Campos Gravenhorst will be signing her books: Famous-Barr, St. Louis Shopping At Its Finest; Benton Park West and Southwest Garden at the Downtown YMCA. The YMCA is right across the street from the Railway Exchange Bldg., former head quarters for Famous-Barr and the May Company. Everyone remembers the French Onion soup! Chef Thomas Ferrario put it on the menu when he was the executive chef, then Executive Chef Manfred Zettl perfected the onion soup most of us remember today. For 95 years St. Louis residents shopped and created life memories at Famous-Barr. The holiday season at Famous was magic.
