Jay Mack, an allegedly awful teacher.

Fair warning -- there are several horrible, cringe-worthy details in the story of Jay Mack, a 33-year-old former teacher at the Missouri School for the Blind in St. Louis.

On December 5, Mack, an O'Fallon, Missouri resident, allegedly said dirty things to a fellow teacher, grabbed her wrist and then promptly forced her to touch his penis -- without her consent.

Exactly one day later, he had the same urge. But this time his victim was allegedly a student.

A probable cause statement from the St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office, on full view below, says that on December 5, while driving with a colleague, Mack, "for the purpose of arousing [his] sexual desire subjected [the teacher] to sexual contact through the clothing by placing her hand on his penis without [her] consent."

At the time, he was apparently driving her back from a location on Grand Avenue to the school at 3815 Magnolia Avenue. When he grabbed her, the statement says, "he was talking about the size of his penis both erect and not."

It gets worse.

On December 6, Mack allegedly had sexual contact with a student during a class period at the school by "placing her hand on his penis through the clothing."

The student reported this and school officials say they responded quickly.

Sarah Potter, a spokeswoman with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, tells Daily RFT that the student reported the allegation to a teacher late on December 6 and that on December 7, the superintendent learned of the allegations and brought in the teacher for questioning. Mack was immediately suspended that day and barred from the school campus.

Potter says he was charged a few days later and then notified of his official dismissal on December 18th.

He had five business days to show cause of why he should not be dismissed -- but Potter says he did not respond.

"We did alert the authorities immediately when it happened and they investigated it immediately," she says. "The charges came quickly."
