Congratulations to the Saint Louis University Billikens. The men's basketball team dismantled University of Oklahoma yesterday 83-63 in the 76 Classic in California.

The Billikens are now 6-0 (with wins over University of Washington and Villanova, to name a few big victories) and ranked No. 23 in the AP poll -- the first time they've been ranked since the 1993-1994 season.

The turnaround comes just one year after the program lost two of its best starters amid allegations of a sexual assault. No charges were ever filed in the case and one of those players, Kwamain Mitchell, is back and better than ever. Mitchell is No. 2 in scoring on the team with an average of 12.5 points per game. Forward Brian Conklin leads the team with and average of 17 points per game.

The Billikens return home this weekend for a six-game home stand that lasts to December 27.
