Idol Wolf (1528 Locust Street, 314-325-0360) is a breathtaking Spanish restaurant with an artistic flair located in the 21c Museum Hotel in Downtown West.
The restaurant features an array of reddish-brown glazed tiles that cover column-like portions of the wall, blush-colored arched ceilings and wood-paneling with portrait-style artwork hung for guests to enjoy. The intimate dining experience is perfect for a magical date night or celebration.
Then there's the food. RFT Dining Critic Cheryl Baehr’s favorite was the sobrasada toast, which pairs thick slices of Union Loafer's bread with whipped goat cheese, a honey glaze and dollops of the dish's namesake Spanish sausage. She also enjoyed the empanadas, the grilled octopus, pan con tomate, paella and "Chorizo" roasted hen of the woods.
