Schnucks Stores in the St. Louis Area, Ranked

There are many Schnucks grocery store locations in the St. Louis area. Some of them are great and some of them are, well, not so great.

We ranked a selection of Schnucks stores across the area from best to worst, taking into consideration things like produce selection, length of lines and vibes. (Seriously, why are the vibes at the Loughborough location so off?)

THE WORST SCHNUCKS FOR AVOIDING STRESS

Schnucks Lindell

This location just sucks. It’s always dirty, it’s run down, there are frequently long lines and it’s just not very chill there at all. It does, however, usually have a decent produce selection and is one of the better spots in town to visit if you buy frozen meals, offering many flavors and styles from different cultures.

THE WORST SCHNUCKS IN ST. LOUIS

Schnucks South City
3430 South Grand
St. Louis, MO 63118

Ask around and you’ll find out that everybody hates the Schnucks on South Grand. If you’ve ever been there, it’s probably left a mark in your memory that you’d probably rather forget. The parking lot gives a bad (and accurate) first impression. It’s awkward to drive into and to exit. Inside, the location rarely has a decent selection of produce, and the selection is forever picked over or just not supplied. This Schnucks does serve many people, so it’s important to the neighborhood, but it’s crowded and it seems like everyone there is constantly having a bad experience. It's a prime location to be sexually harassed in, too. Worst vibes in town. Avoid if possible.
